Modernizing IT Infrastructure

AGZ4 client faced challenges with an outdated IT infrastructure and the need to modernize while freeing up one of their two data centers. The organization managed approximately 7400 operating systems, both physical and virtual.

They required a radical transformation through a journey to cloud, adopting a multi-cloud strategy to redefine the best placement for applications, modernize the infrastructure, reduce on-premises costs, and achieve a 25% spending reduction at steady state after 3 years.

AGZ4 addressed these challenges through:

Migration Strategy and Application Placement

Defined the migration strategy (including infrastructure assessment, cloud readness, business case) and optimal placement of applications, guiding the selection process for cloud providers and partners, achieving cost reductions on new and existing contracts.

Economic Impact Assessment

Evaluated the economic impacts of the transformation, including operational model conversions, organizational and personnel adjustments, and support in contract negotiations with current infrastructure and application vendors.

Technical PMO Support

Successfully managed the move to cloud over three years, meeting economic targets through the application of FinOps practices and managed the first case of interconnected cloud between two cloud providers in Latam.
